Salaams to all. I am an artist with a passion for Islamic Art. I set up this blog to share some examples of my work with others in order for them to find some sort of enlightenment or visual awakening, Insha-Allah.
As someone once said to me ‘Reminders Benefit Believers’, I pray my paintings are a source of reminders for others.
This Acrylic Paisley design Allah-hu -Akbar, is one of my favourites as it is a fusion of Islamic Calligraphy and traditional Indian design. It speaks to me, as I am a British born Muslim whose parents are Indian.

i love the way you have created a design to go with the calligraphy. looks great! if you are in north america please go to http://www.muslimfest.com and see if you can submit your work. I am the coordinator for exhibits at muslimfest and would like to see new talent displaying to the north american public (event is in toronto canada).

It is great to hear you are originally from the Indian Subcontinent (like me). This type of design is very common in here. Salam sis and continue with your wonderful work.
