Salaams to all,
The glorification of God is one practiced by all faiths and all creatures in the heavens and on earth.
The following are a few quotes from the Bible and the Quran.
“He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him” (John 7:18).
“Make me know Thy ways, O LORD; teach me Thy paths” (Psalm 25:4).
“Then celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme!” (Quran 56:74)
“Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)! (Quran 43:82)
And you shall see the angels encircling the throne exalting with the praise of their Lord. and the matter will be justly decided between them, and it shall be said: ‘praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds! (Quran 39:75)
God is glorified in order to appreciate Him, show our adoration and respect, show our love and affection, and to gain and reap the rewards of His pleasure.
